What Are Wayfinding Signs?
Wayfinding signs are made from PVC, composite aluminium, acrylic, High Density Urethane (HDU), and wood, used to direct people towards different points of interest within a residential, business, or recreational setting. They can be custom designed to include different fonts, logos, and colors to match the brand being represented, and can even be shaped to your desire.
Double-Sided Tape
Applying double-sided tape to the back of your sign allows you to stick it directly to most surfaces. This eliminates the need for holes to be drilled into walls, while also completely supporting your sign. Double-sided tape is generally recommended for small plastic opaque signage.
Nuts & Bolts
Using nuts and bolts provides secure fastening where other methods would not work. The most common use of nuts and bolts is with any signage mounted on U-channel sign posts. Alternatively, the use of tamper proof nuts prevents the removal of a sign without a special tool.
Exterior Screws
Using exterior screws is a guaranteed way of making sure your sign doesn’t come down unless you intend for it to. There are several different type of screws that can be used, including, drywall screws with anchors, stainless steel screws, and ceramic coated screws. Alternatively, the use of tamper proof screws prevents the removal of a sign without a special tool.
