What Are Dimensional Letters?
Acrylic signage is most commonly used to display pictures and logos, as well as, informational signs such as pool rules. Interior signs are normally mounted on standoffs to make them float off the wall and give a high-end look where applied. Exterior signs are normally mounted against a solid background and carefully screwed together in order to better support the acrylic from being damaged. Designs can be applied in full color and is sealed into the back of the acrylic making upkeep easy and making the embedded design pop. Acrylic signage can be interior or exterior, and is durable to withstand the elements.
Double-Sided Tape
Applying double-sided tape to the back of your sign allows you to stick it directly to most surfaces. This eliminates the need for holes to be drilled into walls, while also completely supporting your sign. Double-sided tape is generally recommended for small plastic opaque signage.
Silicon
Applying silicon to the back of your sign allows you to stick it directly to most surfaces for longterm signage. This eliminates the need for holes to be drilled into walls, while also completely supporting your sign with a strong bond between the materials. This is especially useful when attaching signage to surfaces that are not completely flat, since the silicon molds itself around any bumps or empty spaces.
Stud-mounted
Stud-mounting is usually done with individually cut letters to be installed on a surface without any kind of sign panel. This allows the hardware to be hidden from view and allows the letters to sit flush with the surface. To provide extra stability to the sign, studs are often coated in caulk before being installed into the pre-drilled holes, which also provides a durable seal.
